Anthology I には'80年代のSilver Mountainのライブの音源が収録されており、 Disc 1がSilver Mountainの初期の代表曲を収録したもの、Disc 2がDeep Purple、 Raibowのカヴァーを収録したものになっている。Bootleg CDの割には音質が かなり良く、当時のライブの雰囲気が手に撮るように伝わってくれ感じである。

Anthology IIは彼等のデモテープの音源が収録されており、Disc 1が初期の Silver Mountainが'83年頃製作した2本のデモテープからの音源、Disc 2は シングルとコンピレーションアルバムからの曲と、2ndからのデモ、Live アルバムの収録に洩れたと思われる曲、3rdのデモ、Per StadinのSnake Charmerの前身バンドEasy Livin'の音源(JonasがGで参加)、Streetwiseで Jonasが関わった曲が収録されている。Illusionあたりは、ちゃんとした 作品として聴きたいなぁ ...

Anthology IIIは彼等のライブ音源を収録しており、Disc 1が'85年の日本の 大阪でのライブの模様を完全収録したもの、Disc 2が'89年の3rdアルバム に伴うライブの模様を就労したものになっている。特にDisc 2でのライブで Johan DahlstromとドラムのKjell Gustavssonが以外と安定しているのに びっくり。最後のDream Onもやっぱりちゃんとしたスタジオ盤で 聴きたいなぁ ...

この作品はBootlegとしてリリースされている物ではありません。Anton Johansson氏のご好意で'81年にSilver Mountainが1stのメンバーになる直前の ラインナップで地元のラジオ番組でライブを行った模様を送って頂いた 物です。ツインリードによるKing of the Sea等はなかなか味わい深いです。
